LBS Financial Credit Union Celebrates Long Beach Marina Branch’s One-Year Anniversary
Long Beach, CA – November 15, 2021 – LBS Financial Credit Union celebrated its Long Beach Marina branch’s one-year anniversary on Saturday, November 6th. The credit union hosted an anniversary party for their members and the community in the courtyard next to the branch that included live music, food catered by Corner Bakery and Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, and giveaways.
The Long Beach Marina branch first opened on November 5, 2020 in the Long Beach Marketplace near the intersection of 2nd Street and Pacific Coast Highway. This is the credit union’s eighth full service branch, and fifth in the city of Long Beach. Many LBS Financial employees, board of directors, and supervisory committee members were also in attendance for the event as well as LBS Financial President and CEO, Jeffrey Napper along with support from the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s President & CEO, Jeremy Harris.
“We opened about a year ago in the midst of a pandemic” said Jeffrey Napper, “We’re happy to be here a year later and for many years to come. We did not have the benefit of a ribbon cutting a year ago, so this day is kind of special for us.”
The VP/Branch Manager for Long Beach Marina is Richard Flores who has over 20 years of financial services experience. Services at the branch include home, auto and personal loans, credit cards, savings, checking and other deposit accounts, investment services, and offers an ATM accessible to Members and the public. The branch is open 9:30 am – 6:00 pm Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturdays, and is located at 6457 E. Pacific Coast Highway.
