LBS Financial Credit Union Announces Two Leadership Promotions

Long Beach, CA – April 18, 2024 – LBS Financial Credit Union recently announced two promotions with a realignment of their senior leadership team. Jeff Niedenthal, formerly the Credit Union’s senior vice president, member services was promoted to senior vice president/chief experience officer (CXO). Christine Bass, formerly vice president, branch operations was promoted to Jeff’s former role as senior vice president, member services.

The role of senior vice president/chief experience officer is a new role at the Credit Union. In this capacity Jeff Niedenthal is now responsible for elevating LBS Financial’s service focus across Member-facing areas in addition to electronic delivery channels and payment systems. Strengthening service experiences for members and ensuring that the Credit Union’s products, services, and delivery channels create a robust and compelling offering are an emphasis in this new role. Jeff will continue to oversee the Member Services, Digital Services, Electronic Services, and Account Services departments.

As vice president of branch operations for LBS Financial since 2016, Christine oversaw branch operations and Investment Services. Now a member of the senior leadership team and continuing to report directly to Jeff Niedenthal, Christine Bass is responsible for branch operations, Call Center, Investment Services, and Compliance in her new role.

Jeff and Christine collectively oversee 60%+ of the organization and each have been employees of the Credit Union for over 8 years.
