Official Rules and Regulations

Eligibility: The LBS Financial Credit Union Holiday Tap to Win Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, who must have either a Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number, and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees or volunteers of LBS Financial Credit Union and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.
Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins on November 27, 2024, and ends on December 31, 2024 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter: Each qualifying cardholder who makes a purchase with their LBS Financial Credit Card during the promotional period will be entered into the Sweepstakes. Each transaction is considered one entry, with no limits to the number of entries that one cardholder can have. There is no minimum purchase amount for the transaction to qualify.
Cardholders have the ability to earn an additional entry if the transaction is made through mobile wallet.
Mobile wallet purchases are tracked by Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
Alternate Method of Entry: To enter without making a purchase, participants can handwrite their full name, complete mailing address, phone number, email address, and date of birth on a plain 3×5 inch piece of paper. Each entry should be mailed separately in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope to LBS Financial Credit Union; Attn: Marketing Department, PO Box 4860, Long Beach, CA 90804. All entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2024 to be eligible for the drawing. Limit one entry per envelope.
Prize: $1,750 in total will be given out. There will be one first-prize winner to receive $1,000, one second-prize winner to receive $500, and one third-prize winner to receive $250. Winning Members will have funds credited to their main share savings account. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: The winner(s) of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing conducted by LBS Financial Credit Union on or about January 3, 2025. The potential winner(s) will be notified by [email/phone/mail] within 5 days following the drawing. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 10 days from the drawing date, or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
Taxes: All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize(s) are the sole responsibility of the winner(s). Prize(s) valued at $600 or more will be reported as income to the winner(s) and winners may be required to provide their social security number for tax reporting purposes.
General Conditions: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of LBS Financial Credit Union which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. LBS Financial Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules and Regulations.
Publicity: By accepting a prize, the winner(s) consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or voice for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Winners will be asked to visit an LBS Financial Credit Union branch for a photo opportunity.
Release and Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless LBS Financial Credit Union and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize won.

Governing Law: The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules and Regulations are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
