LBS Financial is thrilled to announce our 2024 annual Member Scholarship Winners, Sydney F. and Lauren G.! Each awarded recipient is receiving $2,000 in recognition of their high academic performance, commitment to community involvement, and dedication to continuous learning
Sydney recently graduated from Millikan High School. Sydney will attend Stanford University where she will pursue an undergraduate Earth Systems major and a Spanish minor, and after her studies she plans on pursuing a law degree to implement sustainable policies and practices.
Lauren recently graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School. Lauren will attend Howard University, where she will pursue an undergraduate in Political Science/Media and Broadcast Journalism.
In addition, the Credit Union also gave 36 scholarships to our local high schools, adult schools, and community colleges in 2024. Congratulations to all of these scholarship recipients who were selected by the school counselors based on their efforts during the school year.
