Quicken Conversion for our New Online and Mobile Banking

9/10/18 -Mint and Quicken Express Web Connect are now working! Please note, you will receive two one time PINs (each unique) when you initially link your account.

9/7/18 - Mint is now working and we are still waiting for Intuit/Quicken to fix the Express Web Connect. We are hoping this will be resolved by the middle of next week.

8/31/18 - Intuit will not have a fix for the issue until early next week. In the meantime, you can download transactions from our Online Banking and import into Quicken. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

8/29/18 - There is a temporary delay in the ability for Quicken and Mint users to reconnect with our new system. LBS Financial is working with Intuit (Quicken) to fix the issue. You will not be able to reconnect to our new system until we fix this issue.

How will the Online/Mobile Banking conversion affect Quicken, Mint, Quickbooks, and other PFM tools?

With a change in Online and Mobile Banking, our Members who use Mint or other PFM applications will experience changes when we go live. Members will be required to create new user IDs and passwords for the new system, therefore, you will also be required to re-authenticate on any online financial platforms you use that required your Online or Mobile Banking credentials. You will also need to relink LBS Financial Credit Union as a financial institution since we are moving to a completely new system.

Quicken users are encouraged to download transactions from the current systems by August 20, 2018. You will also need to do an account deactivation and reactivation and carefully review downloaded transactions after following our migration instructions (visit lbsfcu.org/conversion for complete conversion instructions).  Refer to the key dates below for the different programs and make sure to download instructions from our website to help you through this conversion. Some of the programs below require you to wait five days from our launch date to reconnect.

Will this conversion change how I access Online Banking in Quicken?

You will not see a difference in access, but there is a change in one of the features. LBS Financial currently offers Quicken Direct Connect which allows Members to use Quicken to access our Online Banking within the software program and downtown transactions in real time.  Beginning on August 22, 2018, we will be changing to Quicken Express Web Connect. Quicken Express Web Connect will still allow you to access your account within Quicken but transaction downloads will include only transactions posted to your account the previous day or prior. We will continue to offer Quicken Web Connect which allows you to download a file directly from our Online Banking to import into Quicken.

Why are we eliminating Quicken Direct Connect?

We are investing in new tools and upgrades to our overall Online and Mobile Banking services this year and it was time for us to revisit all of our online offerings. We discovered that a very small percentage of our Membership uses Quicken and it continues to decline. The Direct Connect feature of Quicken is also very expensive, and by switching to Quicken Express Web Connect, we retain most of the features while saving money that we can allocate towards other more used features.
